Award Received:
You may notice something new at the top of the website pages. Yes, we won a Book of the Year Award from ForeWord Magazine at Book Expo America. Winning such an award is very validating but especially because it was for our debut novel. We were also pleased at the company we were keeping. Really top notch books were given awards by ForeWord and the publishers were, in some cases, very well regarded university presses. But, small presses such as ours were also well represented. |

The second book in the Demontagne Saga. A Circle of Dreams, has been published. Copies are now available from all the same sources as A Dream Across Time. So, pick up your copy and continue on with the Demontagne Saga. Of yes, by the way, the book also has the first chapter of Joup!, the third book in the Saga. |

News:
We are hard at work on the third book in the Demontagne Saga. It is called Joup! You say you have no idea what that means? That’s understandable because we made it up. We did research it in a number of languages and found only a vague reference to a weed in a German dictionary. The word is derived from a section of Martinique called Ajoupa which is on the slopes of Mt. Pelee. Ajoupa is an old French word for hut. But for us joup means a powerful aphrodisiac distilled from a plant which grows only on the rain forest slopes of Mt. Pelee. In this third book Jamie’s children are grown and off on their own adventures. Since we called the book Joup! we will let your imagination fill in. |
